Hello all,

I'm having a bit of problem trying to add a MP40WQD to my existing tank. So far I've tried the following:

1. Use different mobius module from other equipment that can connect.
2. Uninstall/reinstall Mobius app, used different devices, cleared BTE cache, make new Mobius account, turn on airplane mode and restart BT.
3. Swap out power supplies.
4. Swap out dryside.
5. Bought a new driver. (Still says it's a legacy device)
6. Have all other devices turned off when trying to update/add device.

Nothing has worked. It shows up under legacy devices when I try to add a device and then says it's part of an aquarium(while being brand new and never assigned to an aquarium) and requires a reset, try to reset and it does nothing and times out. I'm at my absolute end on trying to figure this out as I can't think of anything else to try and troubleshoot this. Has anyone else ran into something like this?

Have you tried the factory reset using the buttons on the driver?

When it showed up in the legacy screen, ypu you click on it to update to mobius ready?

I have done that and it didn't work.

I did try one more thing last night and it worked. It entailed putting the Mobius RF module back in the MP10 it was in, then add it to the tank, then downgrade the firmware, then remove from tank. Then swapped Mobius RF module back into the MP40 and it was finally able to reset the device and do the updates.
