Too expensive to waste money on the latest fad or fashion, or "Ooh, that's amazing, I gotta have it!!!" Better to find the zoa that would look best with the other zoas/corals in your tank and add that one instead.
I agree to a certain degree. Named ones have bright colors and that is just the game with corals, the better the color expression the more it costs.

That being said, I have very few named zoas. I actually go out of my way to just buy some interesting colored wild ones from AquaSD when they have a cool looking one. Of course as mentioned good colors means some of them aren't cheap, but nothing like the named zoas.

Definetly some beautiful shots of those! Glad they are doing well :)
