Tree id ? box elder or maple stuck in there ?
1719802369185.jpeg

Not Box Elder. There are a couple of maples with similar leaves. What does the back side of the leaf look like? Lots of honeysuckle tangled up in there. Lower leaves (circled in blue) look similar to Silver Maple, Acer saccharinum, whose leaves are quite variable. Those above have a different look, more serrated edge. Are these on the same plant? If Silver Maple, back of leaf will look like this:

And acer rubra looks similar, not white on back and veins are reddish.
Scary what I do remember from college.

I go to bed at 7ish, because I get up at four. Melody, for some reason thinks that at nine (when I’m actually starting to nod off) it’s time to go survey the yard and bark at absolutely nothing.

She’s also for sale.

Also the other day she brought me a turtle…. Idk why or what she thought she’d do with it. But the poor thing was not pleased.

If I let Luna out she refuses to come back in if it’s after midnight, unless I walk out there and chase into the house. Either that or deal with her barking at anything and anything that comes within a 100yrds of her home.

Silly Great pyrenees.

I usually leave her out there, because I can sleep through her barking (usually).

We also get coyotes that walk by our house to go between the areas of open space (park like areas) and I know that’s what she is telling to politely F off.

Ha! Cats... Meowing at 4am to go out. Open the door, they stare at you and then change their mind.

@Projects with Sam say they mske great angelfish food. Wrasse will eat them. cbb? Dont really think the skunks are on the menu.
They’re super sensitive to salinity shifts. Drip acclimation or gradual salinity acclimation needed. A lot of times I suspect they’ve been in cramped captivity too long and have therefore not molted so they end up trying to molt as soon as they get some alone time and have a bad molt.
