Nano Max XXL Build

Long time lurker on R2R. Coming from a WB 20, but did the liferock thing and in hindsight probably introduced coral without solid bio and got Dino. Took at least a year to get them about 60% beat (no WC was the only thing that worked) so I decided to start a Red Sea nano XXL with 40lbs of KP live rock. I had some awesome reef tanks in my late teens two decades ago, but always with Fiji LR. Hopefully better this go around.

That KP LR looks nice - planning on adding some when I upgrade.

Kicked on the lights on acclimation mode at 1%/99 days. 48 hrs after adding rock ammonia between .15-.25 via salifert and nitrates at 5.4 on the hanna. Installed small shelf inside cabinet, have a ways to go on wire management.

How do you find the flow without the additional powerhead?

Seems fine with the single Nero 3 set at random/60% along with the 2 OEM return pumps. Don’t really see the need to add an additional one, but I’m still fish only.
