Hello everyone !

I started reefing in January of this year ! My tank has been through some ups and downs but I think it has finally reached some form of stability . My goal is wall to wall SPS , and I started adding frags around 4 months ago . I’m hoping to optimize the space and prune them frequently as they grow ! I hope to post frequently with updated colony pictures as they take off.

Yellow one is a Walt Disney, the Pink is a POTO Dreamcatcher and the last one is POTO Aquadragon. Ive spent a pretty penny on ReefnBid since starting up this tank haha

Thank you ! I have 2 WD frags, that one cost me 75, the other one was 50 because it had a weird shape/growth pattern. I got them from Reefapalooza NY in June !

I didn’t realize cleaner shrimp got to gargantuan sizes. This one has been eating more mysis than the fish !

A few snapshots of the tank ! So far so good, only major change was switching from All For Reef to 2 part dosing which is really helping my PH and growth.

Radion XR30 Blue ! That plus the 2 blades for fill really eliminate any shading

And yeah the switch to 2 part helped with coloration. It uses sodium hydroxide instead of calcium formate like all for reef does , so it has a net positive PH boost

At this point it is anecdotal. Maybe the corals are just happier so their colors look better ? Or maybe the trace element ratios ?

I mean sure, a happy coral is a healthy coral.. if anything high ph turns them white as they grow faster lol.. idk that traces even play a role in the colors I’m waiting for tarichas experiment to conclude and bust that.. lighting I know plays a role without a doubt and photo shop!
