Hello, I started my tank in October and I am using RODI water. I have 1 bumblebee Snail that was a hitchhiker from one of my coral. My tank is a 3ft long 30 gallon tank. Let me know Clean Up Crew suggestions. I attached a couple of pictures and 1 video. Also the "diatoms" randomly appeared with 2 spots on one of the rocks about 2 days ago and now its on my sand.
Have a good day!

Looks clean to me.
What your CUC going to eat?

A couple snails to move sand, a couple for rocks, keep your CUC light or they just die an contribute to the uglies.

Should I get clean up crew aswell? If so, which ones?

clean up crew is always important. people will go back and forth on what's best but I have emerald crabs, a few hermits, various snails and some micro brittle stars that were hitchhikers.

As for the pods, they can certainly reproduce on their own. unless your fish are going to town on them they will be around. I add a new bottle every couple of months

yeah can always add a few more if they aren't keeping up rather than have them all starve to death if there's not enough food

I only turned the lights off today since I saw some of those brown spots. If you look closely, theres brown spots and I think that is soon to spread all over, pretty sure its diatoms. Let me know if I am wrong.
