No didn’t fall over. I took it out to inspected for any inverts or pyramid snails and I didn’t find anything. My nitrate was at 10ppm at one point but kept doing water changes every week to lower it. I do see the mantle hole is really open and it wasn’t open like that beforedid it fall over? did you check to see how the byssal threads look? any tank inhabitants that could push it over or force it off the rock cradle you have there? to your knowledge: any tank parameter
PO4 is at 0. And the I need to get a mg test. I’ll take a pic once’s I get home. The tank is almost a year old and I bought the clam about 2 months agoWhen did you get the clam? What do you have for lighting? Age and size of tank? Also, please provide pics under white light. In addition, what's your Mg and PO4 at?
I have 2 tangs and 2 pair of clown fishIn addition to above questions, what tank mates do you have in the tank?
Is it set on a flat rock? It doesn't look stable, looks like its in between 2 rocks?
What kind of lighting do you have and what intensity?
Nitrate of 10 is not the cause of this, its something else.
AquaForest Mg Pro has a good test kit. I used to run Salifert on my last go around, but I hear Aquaforest is good for Mag. It'll be what I get when my next tank goes Live and in Living Color!PO4 is at 0. And the I need to get a mg test. I’ll take a pic once’s I get home. No it wasn’t attach to the rock. Today it looks like it open up a little more then yesterdayCan’t tell anything with that pic, but looks like there was some growth, but not too much. When you moved it, was it attached to the rock?
I have the eco tech radion xr15w g4 prowhat lights do you have? Might need to be higher up?
looks to be iffy but hanging on. Clams dont have much issues unless something is off with the water quality as they can be sensitive with changes. Dont allow ammonia or nitrates levels to become elevated by doing water changes and also add occasional trace elements which helps with their survival.
