me too! cant wait to get water in it Z( then wait 3 months for stock to be transferred... poor fish and corals are stuck in this tube these last 2 monthsShould be sweet. Have always loved the central overflow.
Very nice. Who made the tank for you? I love acrylic tanks.
i have found it best to use a removable door. Makes access easier. I use a french cleat from my local big box store . Makes it simple to just lift the door right off when i need to get in there.

acrylic was 1/2" and yes they replaced the tank with the 225 above and 3/4" acrylicHow thick was the acrylic they used on the 240? Did they replace the tank?
1/2” is pretty common in tanks under24” but the cost between 1/2” and 3/4” isn’t that different so I’m amazed at how many companies use 1/2” vs 3/4” especially when I would figure most people buying tanks above 200 gallons wouldn’t mind spending a couple hundred more for the heavier material. I just built my 520 out of 1” the cost between 3/4” and 1” through my distributor was $40 per sheet.acrylic was 1/2" and yes they replaced the tank with the 225 above and 3/4" acrylic
cause its all about profit margin more than it is about quality these days1/2” is pretty common in tanks under24” but the cost between 1/2” and 3/4” isn’t that different so I’m amazed at how many companies use 1/2” vs 3/4” especially when I would figure most people buying tanks above 200 gallons wouldn’t mind spending a couple hundred more for the heavier material.
