I was JUST thinking they needed to do this. Sucks they put all the while diodes concentrated in the middle..thats a head scratcher.

They should have spread the diodes out the whites.. every other "cluster" get a white and cut the cool whites in half and add them back as warm whites.

I'm trying to tag them to see wtheck these guys are smokin' on over there..

Have you seen a Blade in person? Even though the LEDs are clustered, the lens (more like a panel) does a pretty good job of blending and spreading the light. What the clusters do, though, is provide a little bit of shimmer... more than T5, but not as much as the puck style lights.

Putting the whites clustered in the center is for shimmer reasons, I'm sure, but the lens will do a good job of spreading the white out in the actual tank.

I have,I've owned a few and currently own a 12" refugium. But those also have whites spread out into each cluster vs this new dwsign.

Thats what I have been saying. Its like they spun around in a computer chair and said put an diode here,here,here. Makes no sense.
