Welcome to Reef2Reef and to marine tanks!

Personally, I think they are more complicated than "typical" freshwater tanks, but nothing you can't do I'm sure!

Post questions if you have them, and we'll try to help you out.

Best of luck!

Hello, I have always been interested in a marine/reef tank, always from afar. Having had many freshwater tanks, I was always told marine tanks were a lot more complicated, but I don't think so.

Well, you've got a head-start. That will help. It really depends on your goals for the tank. Whether you keep it as a FOWLR, go with corals and stick with Softies/LPS, do an SPS tank or a mixed reef. Confidence is great. Just don't get overconfident.

Greetings and Welcome to our collective obsession!!!!
