Hello all new here was told to post about my redsea 525xl failure that happened last night. Thankfully we were home at the time and was able to save the fish and corals but now scrambling to find a New tank as my LFS is holding everything for me and I have a order of corals I had to postpone. Just a total headache. But hi all looking forward to reading and learning.

Thanks guys I don’t think Red Sea will do anything because I bought it from the original owner. But I reached out to them anyway just because it is a very well known issue with the G1 tanks so hopefully they do the right thing but I honestly doubt that will happen. Been looking at replacements and waterbox is my number one choice probably going to get one of there peninsula tanks as that’s the style me and my girlfriend and our 7 year old wanted in the first place.

Hello and welcome!
So sorry about the tank, but it’s fortunate that you were home at the time. I’m truly heartbroken watching people going through this sad experience with these Red Sea tanks.
