I have had salt water fish since 1975. First started with a tank with an under gravel filter(the dark ages) and slowly progressed as new things were learned. How things have changed. Sadly I had too many fish die because of my lack of knowledge. Hard lessons were learned! Now I've found a place with lots of great knowledge. Glad to be here.

Welcome to reef2reef! That’s crazy you had salt water fish all the way back in 1975. I’m guessing times have changed a lot since then, haha.

Yes those were the dark ages! Very little factual knowledge but a lot of guesses as what was the best way to do things. It is truly sad to think back to how many precious fish were lost. Had no idea why I was losing these poor creatures. Glad to be were great info can be found.
