Just bought a juvenile clownfish size 1.70 inches, it came from a small colony of clownfish in our LFS. I already have a bigger clown in my tank for few months now and when I introduce the new clown the bigger clown that I think is female is twitching and chasing the new clown that I bought. It's just chasing not biting she just poking her head and just chasing then sometimes twitching. The new clown just keep on running but they both eating. Is it normal or she doesn't accept a new friend in the tank?

Sounds pretty normal. Hopefully the smaller one will start doing more twitching when she chases him.

Smart to get a smaller one. I made the same mistake before of not getting 2 at the same time. I had success with utilizing an isolation box for the new clown to give the larger one more time to slowly get used to the new one. Hopefully it works out. Good luck

The small one is doing the twitching dance a little bit now but still running because the female is still rushing towards him. I hope tomorrow she'll stop chasing the smaller male. . Thank you
