Ok i am about to start transferring current tank to my new 180g. The current tank has been up a few years. Ran as a fowlr for a long time with 2 clowns. When I setup the tank i tried to make an undergravel filter to work as a denitrifier. I forget the style but used in Freshwater. When making it I made the underrated stand. Then added sechem florite clay cat litter was supposed to make it work. Long story short it was a fail and I tore it all out now im setting up the new tank. I think I have enough sand for the display tank brand new. But the current sand is loaded with pods. Luke i can watch them crawling on the sand even in the light and I would have to lose pods but I'm thinking resh start and let the rock pods repopulate. Thoughts?
