I set up my 75g tank about a month ago, cycled, added my Clowns back in. The water immediately turned green and I dont know how to fix it.

I had the same issue before I tore down after almost a complete crash.

I have a UV sterilizer but it stopped working entirely. Any tips?

I'm sorry for your troubles!

What are you using for source (top off and to mix saltwater) water? To me, that looks like you're using tap water, no offense.

I've never run a UV, but I know that the flow through them has to be "tuned" to what you're targeting. If you're UV is set up for fish parasite, you may not see a reduction in algae.

I'm sure others will be along shortly with better advice, but as always, I hope this helped and good luck!

I make all my water with my RODI system. I can't figure it out for the life of me. I use the same system to make my QT water and have 0 issue.

You might have a phytoplankton bloom. A UV will take care of it in a few days. Was there a sudden spike in nutrients? What are you parameters looking like

I see your picture, and other than using tap water (which you said you're not), I have no idea lol!

Is there something sneaking past your RODI filter?

I'm sure the "real" experts will have a solution very soon.

This was my parameters just the other day. I'm in a tight spot and can't afford a new UV at the moment so that's why I'm after any other possible solution.

I have somewhat low water pressure as im on a well. Could that be the issue?

The well water could be contributing. the RODI system should be taking care of it unless a membrane cartridge is old. If you have a sump/AIO system you can pick up a cheap UV on Amazon for $15-20 & place it in the back.

Ended up getting a small green killing machine from Petco on Saturday. Slowly clearing up.

Phytoplankton blooms are rare but thankfully easy to fix. A simple cheap UV sterilizer will get rid of it and then you can take the UV out after it's gone.

Add some pods and they will consume it and fish consume the pods. Assuming lights aren't on longer than needed and nutrients in check then should solve it self quickly. Can also hatch out brine shrimp and add those. While green water persists will be a treat for the fish. Just don't hatch out more than can be consumed in a few days.
