I recently purchased a used innovative marine 20 gal nuvo AIO how would I best and safely go about cleaning it without the silicone being damaged? I’ve seen mixed takes. Water stains aren’t horrible but there is lots of build up in the sump. Ty in advance!

You can use critic acid (preferred, as it's "gentler" on pumps and equipment) or vinegar as mentioned. You can fill you tank with tap water, add a little of either acid, turn your circulation pump on, and let the system run for several hours to overnight. That should help with the mineral deposits.

Good luck!

Utilizing fish fan's method will assist in cleaning the pump. It is a good idea if this was used in the past. It is also advisable to take the pump apart after the rinse
