Hello everyone, I been in the fresh water world for about 15 years growing up. I’m currently live in Ontario, Canada. I recently been wanting and researching salt water tanks and have began to set up.
Any thoughts or recommendations for my tank would be greatly appreciated!
For my tank I’m getting a 29 gallon from pet smart. Dimensions are ; 30” long, 12” wide and 18” tall. Additional items are;
- 100w heater
- TopFin Silenstream PF30 filter
- AQQA double power head (5W)
-RO buddie 4-stage
- live sand and live rock from LFS tomorrow
- test kits
-Nicrew HyperReef 100w with controller
I plan to use Fritz 9 turbo start with Dr. Tim’s ammonia chloride, once the ammonia and nitrites 0 will begin adding some clowns, then an CuC, and a couple months down the line eventually corals. Excited to get started in this hobby!
