New torch has frizzy ends. Is this a characteristic or external cause?

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I bought a rasta torch from a local seller. I’m suuuuper happy with the piece and it is really opening op beautifully. I do notice it has a light ‘frizzle’ at the end of the polyps and I was wondering if this is specific to the type of torch or indicates something else. I’ve placed it next to my Cristata. I guess it should be fine as they are from the same family? Thanks for any info.

If it seems healthy otherwise I'd just give it some time and see if they unfrizzle (new word?) lol :)
It looks very happy in it’s new spot. Just trying to get a handle on how long the polyps might stretch since I’ll be traveling for three weeks and wondering if I need to make room when it potentially ‘unfrizzels’ .
