So. Something off topic. As many of you may know, we had a G4 solar flare a few days ago. It's a big one. Northern Lights will be able to be seen in the lower 48. Today, if your lucky, you'll see something between 1000 to 0200. The range is south of Portland, dipping down to south of Ohio, then back up in the same manner. If you see something, I hear that looking at it thru the video function on your camera MAY pick it up better than your eyes (at least that's what my daughter told me!). Enjoy.

OK.....I tried. Got a great northern view, but a big fat nothin'.
My pics were from Friday night around 11pm. It was much more noticeable with the camera than it was to the naked eye. Didn’t even look tonight so no idea if it was still going on.
