My mom had a huge metal bowl and made 9-10 dozen chocolate chip cookies at a time growing up. There’s 2 best times to eat them. Just before and just after going into the oven. She sure to joke she lost a dozen cookies whenever I was around from me eating the dough.

That sounds amazing! Cookie dough is by far my favorite part of the cookie-making process.

There is a fair ( believe in Wisconsin?) that has a cookie booth where they sell literal buckets of fresh, hot chocolate chip cookies. They come out of the ovens in the booth, and the workers just dump dozens of full-size cookies into buckets and hand them out. Looks like heaven on earth!

My mom is the baker in my family. She makes these Cherry Snowball cookies that are to die for.

It's a buttery shortbread cookie with a whole maraschino cherry in the middle. Just out of the oven, she dusts them with powdered sugar. They're molten lava in your mouth, but they're so delicious! A cherry cordial with cookie as the coating instead of chocolate!
