150 waaaaay to small. You need to start with the tank and then build your HQ around it :)

I'm a sucker for Innovative Marine, but I do agree on the sentiments for Glass Cages.

Really, there's only a few brands that you should avoid - outside of those it's personal preference.

I know it's "little" but I don't want to overdo it! LOL! Now I just opened up another can of worms by mentioning "overdo" when talking about reefing. :p
Little is, indeed, a highly subjective word! Glass Cages gets my vote as well for a tank. In your shoes, I'd definitely try for something truly unique. What are the dimensions of the space, desks, chairs and sofas included?

As there are some really good brands of lighting systems out there, I'd stick to ANYTHING that is a high quality LED/T-5 full meal deal.

Hey! I like this! Helping others spend their money is fun!!!!

If I was going to have a brand new tank built, it would be with Joe at Glasscages. I have talked to him a few times and he is the most down to earth person.

Help support the little guy, all the other big tank manufacturers are just that Big.

Just my humble opinion

Good luck with the move and new setup

Five foot cube with desks facing and surrounding therefore day spent starring at the tank vs just a monitor and the wall. Thirty inches off the floor provides plenty of room for imaginative sump and auto WC capacity. Hide the controllers, center overflow with closed loop pumps vs wave makers and drain skimmate to reservoir under a desk for easy maintenance and if insulated won't even hear the components then fill it with Warty Shrooms :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

I definitely like the idea of a peninsula tank in an office setting. I visualize people hanging out around the tank and a peninsula is better for that.
where in TN??? I just moved here from NM so that would be cool to say hi and help out with whatever i can!

Hey Rev,
As other have already stated GO BIG OR GO HOME.
Consider 96x36x24 with a remote sump. Put the sump on a stand making servicing much easier. I just set up a Hydros collective yesterday. I didn't even have to read the manuals:) it still needs to be customized but I found it intuitive. Plan on closed loops to avoid unsightly plumbing. GO FOR IT.

I also give Joe from Glass Cages a nod

I'm thinking a must is TBS live rock and sand whether 100% or 10%. I believe we can make this into the ultimate guide in starting a mixed reef. I see a tread going over each step and the theory as to why over time. Showing hitch hikers and what is good and what's bad. How to. Run flow ECT. :thinking-face:
