On a scale of algae to excessive coral growth…

When your out for 3 yrs and come back, yahoo!! I am like a kid in a candy store. New equipment, new coral types offered. Now we want a specific range on phosphates, who knew. Lighting options, I am losing my mind, Radion and AI aren't the only game in town, in LED. Too bad about T5 and MH though.

Got turf algae up my ears in main DT, aiptasia infestation in frag tank, little bit of Cyano in anemone tank, little bit of dinos in 115 gal system… but … just beat a massive bubble algae infestation in the 24 AIO, main DT has restabilized after a die off, corals are growing like wild fire despite the pests and the work I have to put it and I like to think I’m a “tank half full kind of gal” so let’s goooooo ‘25! Pretty stoked about reefing and life in general.

Hey even squishing some green bubble algae can get you excited once you see it’s not coming back! Keep fighting!

Main system150g's is 9 months now. All corals show nice growth and color.
3 month old 35g nem tank has 7 nems a pair of naked clowns and a file fish.
50g doing well at at 6 months.
No algae to speak

On a scale of “algae to excessive coral growth,” how excited are you about your tank right now?

I’m pretty excited about starting the new R2R HQ Reef! So it’s up there around “new acro growth white tips” for me!

Besides the white tips, I'll bet those tips are flat or squared off? That's when I know things are really cooking.
