If you want a mixed reef tank, you're gonna want to monitor temperature and test for NO3, PO4, pH, Ca, Mg and ALK. FWIW, in my upcoming build, I'm gonna aim for Temp=78, NO3 between 5 and 15, PO4 between 0.02 and 0.09, pH between 8.1 and 8.4, Ca between 450 and 480, Mg between 1380 and 1410, and ALK between 10 and 12. Of all these, pH will be the number that fluctuates most, but I'll have an outside air line to my skimmer to combat pH drops due to CO2 build up. Listen to advice that @Randy Holmes-Farley issues. The guy knows his Chemistry.

So I think all for reef dosing and only testing alk is enough for that

Yeah I meant by only alk to test that instead of major and minor trace elements

You don’t need to test for Nitrite. (NO2) either.
The usual ones that the majority of reefers keep track of and test for are listed below.

Temperature
pH
Salinity
Alkalinity
Calcium
Magnesium
Nitrate
Phosphate

Like Randy mentioned, with AFR, you don’t necessarily need to test for Calcium or Magnesium, since it doses at a balanced rate.

No such product exists, whether it claims it or not.
