My peppermint shrimp ate my hologram hammer his getting served a eviction notice
I mean, they eat aptasia, so it's not too far of a stretch to think that they will also go after some corals. For some reefers they are hit-or-miss, with some reporting that they are model citizens, and others reporting that they went after their prized frags.

hey y'all! I have a 20 gallon tank and i plan to add a pair of clowns a cardinal fish, and maybe a goby. I know i want to add a shrimp as well, would you all recommend the peppermint or the cleaner? thank you so much! ( I also plan to add soft corals in the next few months when the tank is more established)
Why do you have to choose? I have a blood red fire shrimp and peppermint in the same tank (45g) with no conflicts. I have watched the blood red perform cleaner duties on my fish too.
