I feel like Kenya Trees are a highly debated coral within our community...You either love them because they are easy to keep happy, or you hate them because they drop their little ones all over the reef. Or maybe both! Although I like these little reef trees, I know that they are certainly not everyone's cup of tea!

I hope it gets huge. I just moved it next to the rock hoping it will spread there. One of my lfs has a tank and this fills a whole corner. It probably takes up a 2sq ft area. I think it's awesome but I love big corals that move with the flow.

Had a pink Kenya tree . I liked it at first, untill it started to drop babies all over my tank . So I give it away .
That's what I've heard. Sounds like they are a little too resilient!

100% . The first year it just grew quite large . Then it started to drop babies almost weekly. I had to get rid of it otherwise I'd have a tank full of Kenya trees .

never again for me with these. In past tank as you can see, they dropped chutes Everywhere and ended up in other coral with sps branches and would not stop. It took a month or more to remove them all and lesson learned

As you can see, they ended up Everywhere !!

I had one in my reef and I watched it grow and start throwing clones all over the place. I was satisfied that it wasn’t going to stop so I recently removed all of the 50-75 trees that were ruining the landscape. I tossed most of them into the landfill supply chain and kept a few in my neglected tank, I guess I got soft with age.

I got the original from a local who was hoping I would save a frag for when he restarts but the clock has run out for freeloading invasive species in the reef.
