So this will run some powerheads and a smallish return pump or dc lower wattage one unattended. Nice.
Not enough juice to run heaters unfortunately. Esp in winter.

Yes. Dc return pumps are more efficient and lower watts than ac and can be dialed back if needed. But it will run smaller ac return pumps also

My prior pump was a mag drive at 60 watts and I switched to a dc pump at 20 watts and tripled my runtime on battery

But it will keep circulation at 25%

The eflux 1900 is 55 watts at 100%

Sooo
55 x .75 = 41
And
55 x .25 = 14

Now, runtimes
(1075x.85) / 41 = 23 hours at normal setting of 75%

(1075x.85) / 14 = 65 hours if you manually dialed back to 25% during an outage

With this combo you can get anywhere from 23-65 hours runtime depending where that return pumps speed dial is. And the cool thing is the power station gives a live readout of watts used and calculates the run time for you on the display.

As for customer service - I bought the 600 in January. A few months later I had 1 USB port stop working for unknown reasons. I emailed the company and they asked for video showing that port doesn’t charge a device. Sure no problem. Took 10 sec video of my phone not charging on one port but working on another port. They apologized for the issue and said I’ll have a new cellpowa 600 in 7-10 days.

A new power station arrived and they let me keep the old one. No questions no arguing no hassle. So now I have two cellpowa 600’s and I don’t even use the usb on either of them, I use one as a backup for my main display tank and the other is a backup for my home router/Internet, landline phone, and lamp

In a power outage I have 40+ hours of filtration and circulation for my reef, and I have full use of phones and Internet and light for 60+ hours.

When power comes back the devices recharge themselves in approx 90 minutes automatically and are ready to go again. Batteries are rated for 3500+ full recharge cycles which is 10 years if I fully drained and charged them daily. Which I certainly do not lol

The unit has BMS chip in it to always monitor battery health and maintain as needed for max life

Also looks like you can hook it up to solar panels which is cool.

They run promos all the time. This is the current one

^ they have two listings for the cellpowa 1000. One for 400 and one for 500

The 500 one is a bundle that gives you a 100w solar panel kit that’s normally 160$. And by having both items you also get 5% off

Sooo 400 + 160 = 560 normally for the backup + panel

And promo is 500 for both, and 5% discount

400 + tax for the unit by itself
Or 467 + tax for the unit + a solar panel

One day I will get the cellpowa 2500 which is a huge step up not only in capacity but it also gives remote access via an app over wifi or Bluetooth, has gps for some reason I don’t understand yet, and also has a nicer screen

On sale $850 at the moment and 5% discount if you add on a solar panel

Not to beat a dead horse, but another great thing about the cellpowa is the power supply is internal and high current.

Most others use these
C3022D15-9F87-4A66-839B-01AB791FF8C4.jpeg

And I have to keep track of which one goes to which battery generator and they have a charging output of 60 watts and take 6-8 hours to recharge a power station of lower capacity.

The solapowa takes a regular IEC cable, same as a computer monitor, and has a 300w charger internal and can fully recharge in 1.5 hours

If power outage is intermittent and comes back briefly, you can get recharged FAST automatically

This is seamless and automatic and convenient. Gas generator are great but if you aren’t home it’s not a help.

I consider a gas generator (which I have, 3550 running watts) a second line of defense. If the power outage is less than 24 hours this handles my tank for me. If power outage is extended beyond that, I’ll take out the generator and connect gear and recharge my battery backup.

I can run the generator in the day time and battery backup silently at night. Save on fuel and complaints from neighbors.

Yea I’m Really sorry for your losses. We learn from them. With this you will be better prepared for the future

I’ve already had a few small 1 hr power outages. I had peace of mind knowing that I didn’t have to do anything.

Last yr power outage for 3 days. I used a battery back air stone and 2 times I used Mason Jars and shook up water and poured in back in the tank. I would also suggest to siphon water into a bucket and pour back into the tank. It really saved my tank.

Good work. The main problem, other than the power outage and the fish dying, was I wasn't home.
