Puffer fish has something under his skin

Hey guys anyone have any clue what this could be on my puffer? I treated the tank with parasite meds but I’m a beginner and I don’t know what’s going on I want to help him I have no clue how to please if anyone has any suggestions it’s getting darker and has been about 2 weeks since I noticed it

I cant tell if post-injury or parasite like isopod.
Being that this fish is brackish, place it in a clean bucket of freshwater same temperature as display tank for 5 mins. If an ispod or similar, should drop off or move. If Not, mat then be injury and keep an eye on it to assure healing and Not getting infected.
If it does, treat in separate tank with maracyn 2 or in tank with Ruby rally pro which I prefer the maracyn product

To me this looks like an injury. And also as others have said a brackish water fish. My tendency would be to watch it.

Brackish water can run the gamut from FW to pure SW, it helps to know where they are at. It looks like a puffer bite, that's why I asked what other fish are in the tank....

I have 2 puffers and a eel also archer fish and crabs but the archer fish is about to be put in a 55 gal FW tank anyways I’m in the process of slowly increasing salinity being the eel has to be in salt water at adult I used API general cure gravity is 1.013 and the get a little aggressive when feeding

I have never been able to keep two figure 8 puffers together for very long without them fighting, I think that is a puffer bite.

I have 3 tanks in my room 2 55gal and a 25 gal maybe I will do some rearranging thanks for the advice I love my puffers but I can’t have them fighting they greet me everyday I walk in my room lol

Hey guys update
The black spot has moved close to my puffers eye and now there are lumps on both puffers in the belly area I don’t know what’s going on I attached photos

That still looks like puffer bites to me - I've never been able to keep those together without fighting. What about the white spots in see in some of the pictures?

But the original spot is gone over night and has moved by his mouth I am separating them idk could it be ick you think I am overwhelmed with this

And again the belly are getting bigger without feeding and yes spots are activity moving extremely slowly though he is turning pale and seems lethargic

So - I'm trying to figure out if the spot is actively moving, or if one spot is healing and new spots are developing in new locations. There is a very rare sub-dermal nematode worm seen in eels that can move around under a fish's skin. Stingrays have a disease called "wandering spot disease" caused by a Argulus parasite that moves around on their skin....it's possible that puffers have a similar parasite. However, if you don't see the spot moving incrementally across the fish's body, then these are more likely random bite marks.

I'm also worried about the white spot on the skin of the one puffer in the first and third image above - that could be ich. What is the salinity/ specific gravity of the tank?

1.010, 14 temp is 79 like I said the spot was on the underbelly it looks like a small worm under the skin and both my puffers are very lumpy one has a raised spot on its back that looks like a wound up snake could spots disappear over night because it’s no longer on its belly I will be getting ick meds today

Assuming there are only fish in the tank, no invertebrates, coppersafe or copper power will cure marine ich if dosed at 2.5 ppm.
