New arrivals!!! Big rock shipment first of the year! Really nice batch. More photos available but it’s very uniform to these videos.

I wanted to post here for anyone pondering buying live rock from @Eric Cohen - do it! I placed an order with him that arrived a few days ago and the rock is amazing. The stunning shapes and lightweight nature of the rock gives you a lot of bang for your buck and makes your rockscape and reef look natural and authentic. There are several types of macroalgae on the rock and I was able to discern at least 4 different colors of coralline on the rock ranging from deep purple to maroon to rosy pink. Eric's customer service is unmatched and when there was a shipping issue with FedEx he was on it immediately - literally on the phone with them in minutes. He was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions and even FaceTimed me to pick out my preferred rocks. I will 1000% be placing an order with Tankstop again if I need more rock and certainly for fish/corals in the near future. His passion for the hobby and live rock was palpable through our communications and created a customer-vendor trust I haven't experienced until now. Thanks Eric and thank you Tankstop!

He’s only nice to every other person, you got lucky.

(I have always wanted to post this) :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I agree with your post, I just get tired of recommending Eric and not getting paid for it. But as you said the rock and service is amazing and it is hard to find great people who love the hobby this much.

I am glad you found him and it’s nice to have company singing his praises.

Do you see a point in adding this rock to already established tank? Like I'd buy it just to introduce Australian bacteria in my tank. But I'm afraid it won't be possible on established tank

Any addition will not hurt IMO, just because your tank is established doesn't mean that you have all bacteria there is, aqua biomics tests have proven this, just FYI, but I have personally used this rock in starting up a tank and have added it to others and it definitely helps to have more biodiversity! zheka757

Thank you, I'm no expert in any of it, just the way I see it, if I have a strong established biomedia, of 200lb of rocks 200lb of sand, and 500gallons of water. What is adding couple pounds of different bacteria will do? I think my current bacteria will outcompete what ever is on this rocks.

You'd be surprised, it's not necessarily about bacteria outcompeting others, it's about introducing bacteria that is not there, for instance, years ago I could not keep an acantho for some reason, weather it be water quality, bacteria etc, after starting a tank with this live rock, I have no problems keeping any types of corals in there, and compared to other tanks that I have started, for instance a dry rock start with no live rock, its been far easier starting and I honestly didn't really go through an ugly stage, not to mention I have a bare bottom as well. So all in all IMO, it's not gonna hurt to add more diversity, and a couple different colors of coralline algae.

:face-with-hand-over-mouth: It’s raining here and the prediction is that the state will be washed out to sea.

Also, I think Wednesday is his family bowling day, but he will return calls when he’s back.
@Eric Cohen - Hope you are well and safe.
