Looking to replace my 225g 72 x 27 x 27 tank.

im trying to decide between the Red Sea reefer S 1000 and the waterbox 320.7
I’m sure a bunch of people were in a similar situation if they decided on 1 of these 2 tanks. Anything that swayed your decision?
Thanks

I went for waterbox 220.6 over the comparable Red Sea due to the design/look.

My LFS just got an S1000 for their store tank, it is a beautiful tank. I'm very good friends with the owners, they said its very well built. The sump is amazing too.

They are both high quality. I went with Red Sea, features and looks. The Water Box is made in the manufacturing plant were Red Sea use to have there's manufactured. Red Sea built there own facility and now manufactures them themselves. Both are similar. Just a matter of what you prefer.

This is something I debated for a while before settling on the S-1000. I actually like that its Eurobraced, it makes me feel like its built to last longer. Red Sea also used the armored seams in the tank corners preventing glass scrapers from tearing up the silicone. Lastly the split sump was a huge plus for me. I like having my fuge external to the rest of the sump. I used to get so much algae growth all over my sump, now all my pumps and equipment are totally separate. Both systems are super nice, with glass sumps and aluminum stands & I am very happy with my S-1000
