I have a ReefMat and last night I got a push notification from ReefBeat that the device was no longer connected to the internet. I thought little of it at the time as I rarely use the app and figured I could look into it today. This morning I woke to my ReefMat overflowing from not having advanced overnight. I tried to advance it but the buttons did nothing. I power cycled and then was able to manually advance the mat to deal with the backup using the buttons.
However, I then went into ReefBeat to see if the connectivity issue was resolved, but nearly everything I click on gives me "An unknown error occurred". Across 2 devices. I tried logging out and when I try to login, same error, try to reset password (with any username), same error.
So my question is, is RedSea having a broader outage? Is anyone else experiencing issues with their ReefBeat app or ReefMat or other RedSea devices? If they are having a service outage and that also caused my ReefMat to stop working, that's an alarmingly poor design choice. I hope that's not the case, but it's hard to draw a different conclusion based on the current evidence.
