Hello everyone. I added a Regal Tang to My DT on 12/9. I purchased from an LFS and I was told they ran a copper treatment. This is the little gal.

I did a 45 gallon water change on 12/12 which is more then I normally do. I usually do a 25 gallon. It seemed to stress her out a bit. I found one white spot on her top fin depicted in picture above. He had two more on the right. I did water test on 12/13

I had some issues with my flow meters which turned off my UV over night. So while troubleshooting I cleaning both CORS and 4 WAV pumps. Which to my dismay temp dropped to 73 degrees. So next one I need clean one pump at a time. Either way it ended up being EMI that through the sensors out of wack but ended in clean pumps. On 12/14 spots were gone. I went out of town On 12/17 returned on the 12/21. Woke up the next morning and 12/22 more spots. Yesterday and today it looks like so tissue damage next the left eye and around the lip. I removed ROX carbon. I performed more water test 12/21 and 12/22. See below.

Dont really see anything out of the ordinary. They are very siddish and play dead at times. When startled, can can quickly dive into a cavity and cause themselves minor injury which often heals quickly.

She is like a hog. I feed PE mysis, Hikiari Mysis, live baby brine (think she doesn’t touch these just my two clowns), formula two flakes, prime reef flakes, Neptune crossover diet, and she just started munching on the LRS premium seaweed.

Do you recommend a stress coat of some sort. I’ve never had success with tangs before. I have only done predator fowlr tanks in the past. I just got my QT set up yesterday 40 gl breeder. A day late and dollar short. I fed into yea we treat our fish with copper. I will try to get some better pictures in the morning. Now that you mention it it does look like she rammed something.

Stress coat wont do much except restore skin slime.
Bump up the diet:

-LRS Reef frenzy
-small plankton
-Spirulina Brine shrimp
- Hikari Marine cuisine
- Formula 2 flake and frozen
- Hikari veggie marine

Add selcon vitamins to the foods 2-3X per week and on alternating days, garlic extract for stamina and immunity health

So I Tried searching some of the items above just want to make sure I’m getting the right ones. Hikari veggie marine is the Hikari seaweed extreme? Hikari marine cuisine I can’t find is that ocean nutrition by chance?

The rollercoaster continues. See below. I will post a video later. However you can zoom on the photos to see whatever is on her. They don’t appear to be perfect circles more oblong in nature. I started H202 dosing last night. I also order focus, metro, and Kano. Should be here on Tuesday. I’m still unclear what she has. She is still eating like a pig. But when I go to photo mode she goes berserk. She is very skittish so I haven’t attempted to net her yet. I also purchased that two part quick cycle bath and Coppersafe. Only treatment started h202. I’m also alternating days with Selcon and brightwell garlic on the frozen food
