Hey Reefers.
Question about RODI output… I just installed my Blue Lagoon 4 stage RODI unit. Was easy to install and I actually purchased an additional pressure gauges to ensure both input and output where as expected.

My gauge I installed coming straight from mains water is about 60psi which is good, but it looks like my output pressure on the unit itself is less than 20psi.

It’s a 50gpd unit and while the water is trickling out slowly, I did time how long it took to produce 100ml and it was 44 seconds. If you do the math that’s about 200L per day so I think it’s operating as it should but just wondering if the output pressure is a concern or not?

Thanks for your input!

Ps. Will commence my build thread very shortly as about ready to get underway!

I’ve never tested the output side of an RO/DI so I can’t say what’s “normal”

As long as the input side is good and you’re getting water out I think it’s ok.

Also remember ROs go super slow in the winter if the incoming water is cold.
