Drain lines tied into main sewer today. Tried to hire it out cuz.. well poop and all. But could not get a call back.
So under I went! 4 inch for the new toilet and two inch for the new slop sink. Can now officially close it up and get back on level ground!!! Should have the rest of the sub floor and possibly the finished floor down tonight.

That room isn't good for anything. :(

(Except an awesome, incredible, fun, fantastic FISH ROOM, that is!) :p
Itll be something when I'm done for sure. Looks like it'll be 190 gallon total volume. When up and running. I'm ordering a custom built 60x24x24. Thats 150gal. Plus the sump. There will be a 5 foot live edge bar on the viewing side. Back side is all for me. When I get the running water done and the rock on the walls I'll start to aquire gear. I already have my reef octopus skimmer. Some dead rock. Some reactor cans. A 75gpd 5 stage rodi. But ill sit down and make a comprehensive list of things to have even prior to placing my tank order. I'll also be building a stand myself.
I have a 14x24 work shop so I can get that started soon after I close up the walls.

Project has been on hold due to the fact I have not been able to haul any sheet rock. Been raining here nonstop should be able to get back at it in a week or so.

I had to plumb two (2) 150s-- 60 x 24 x24 just like yours. A ton of unions, street-elbows, gate and ball valve, reducers, you name it. Just about drove me insane! o_O Keep us updated, your project is great.

Yes it takes a certain level of dedication to go to this extreme just to support a tank... I've seen many threads where someone said "I ran a support under my tank in the basement so I would not have a problem" I have not seen ANYONE say " I ripped up my floor poured a concrete foundation replaced all the joists and anchored them to said foundation so It could support the tank". End goal is a tank of the month build. When I get up and running. Well thats the 2nd end goal. Primary end goal is simple, have a beautiful tank Well supported with an easy maintenance system to keep my corals and fish healthy and happy.

A question unrelated to reefing but general construction. I am unfamiliar with crawl spaces as we've always had basements. My basement is pretty much my fish room. As you have plumbing down there, can I assume that space is insulated?

No its not insulated, only thing down there is drain lines. If working properly they should not have water in them. No traps or anything down there. We see temperatures well below zero and we never have draining issues. There is 10 inches of insulation between the crawlspace and the inside floor

Make sure to use the moisture resistant kind.

I didn’t pour concrete but I added a couple steel I beams to reinforce the floor.

framed in the window to the tank.
Last wall to insulate. Also hauled home my sheet rock. I'll get started on closing up the walls this week.
Absolutely burred my jeep in my lawn due to the added weight of the sheet rock and the fact we have gotten soo much ran in the last two weeks. I was almost sitting on the Frame. Had to unload the rock in order to get her to climb out of the ruts...
