There isn't any color to them.

Interesting, they aren't like the ones I've had on corals I've bought. They seem to spread reasonably quickly...
Touch them with the back of your hand. If it stings and is irritated, then they are a type of colonial hydroid. I took a whole rock out of my 10g that had those.

Rhoda is impossible to turn back red. I had some that stressed and went green, kept the culture going for a long time hoping to have it turn red again. At that point, it loses a lot of the reasons people culture it, since it is missing phycoerythrin (red pigment) and only had chlorophyll which you can get from other green phytoplankton. I've read that it can, but there must be something else to it, because I've only read anecdotally that it can change, since I've seen zero people actually posting about accomplishing that.

What’s everyone’s most treasured sps coral with pictures?
I loved this sunset millie I grew in a prior tank. Nothing super rare but I was proud of growing it out from a 2” frag into a large colony and the colors in person were an awesome yellow base with green polyps

It can be done. But it takes a long time...and I think excessive nitrate since that is why it crashed in first place.

I’ll have to get some updated photos tomorrow. A lot of these have grown quite a bit in the last two months.

What’s everyone’s most treasured sps coral with pictures?
My favorite is my RRC Rainbow Splice. I bought only a green branch, but it is massively bright.

My other favorite I got from SBB is a MattV Cookie Monster. I lost it and don't have photos since they are on my other phone.

This is a no named nothing I picked up from ASD. It is a really bright Millie and has turned more orange pink lately, but excited to see it grow.

My SBB Jet Fuel was amazing (RIP).

My other favorite SBB one was a random one, bought it green and it has nice colors now.

I lost this one awhile ago and it still hurts, but this is the SBB Double Rainbow milli. I loved it. Reason why it hurts is it is one of the few milli I have ever lost, they are easy growers for me.

What’s everyone’s most treasured sps coral with pictures?
If POTO got to the SBB colorfish before me theyd have 6 polyp frags up for $600. Hands down my favorite piece in my tank right now. It gets even crazier with the over saturated orange glasses look, but thats not my style.

My most treasured are probably these chalices & larger colonies as they’ve been with me for a bit

Overall tho IMHO it is tough to beat a SCOP

Woah!!!! That rainbow chalice is amazing! I haven't done any chalice coral since I'm too packed with corals and honestly coral warfare has been the death of so many things in my tank.

I'm going to buy that exact one though and make an arch in the big tank to have only a rainbow chalice on it.
