Went downstairs and saw that some of my corals were looking a little ticked off - did alk check and it dropped to 6.1. During the water change and salt mixing I should have realized that the Alk would have had a drop. Addressed it, hopefully that should put me back on the steady.

Question, if something like that happens such as extra fresh water, or a new salt water batch - do you guys test it right away to see where the tank is sitting at numbers wise?
Yes, calcium and Alk are the two things I test regularly.
