I want to start a discussion on testing salt in tanks. We’ve got 2 Milwaukee testers & 2 Hanna testers, but they’re all reading different numbers, even after calibration. We also sent a Triton MS test, and it shows low salt, which got us into this. What do you think is the best tester for this?
Tropic Marin Hydrometer. I dont even bother with the testers. I know its right. There is no calibration, is it annoying? sometimes, but I know im not missing a beat.

wich hydrometer will you get?
I actually have one from homebrewing I'll test with.

I'm going to run the calibration solution test first and I'll report back between my 3 measuring tools. In fact, I just had a meeting canceled, so I'll work on it now between games...

I'm having the same issue, six different testers and six different results across the plastic hydrometers, two digitals, and refractometers.

My Milwaukee reads perfect compared to my hanna. I just got 3 different calibration solutions 1.026 and it read them all as 1.026 so I am sticking with my Milwaukee.
The best way is to check is get the floating hydrometer from Tropic Marin and a 500ml cylinder
