I do things different. Instead of having algae grow in my display, I grow my algae in a small box in my sump

This algae is what filters my reef. And feeds my tang, for free

How do you feed it to your fishes? Do you put it on a clip?

Grab a pinch and drop it in
Only the tang eats it

Your mileage may vary :) any herbivorous / algae / nori eating fish should eat it. Sometimes you need to be patient and wait for them to learn it’s food, but once they try it they typically like it. Fresh grown turf algae full of nutrients

Anything loose and missed, dies off on its own. It won’t spread. It can’t survive outside the scrubber
