It’s all a plasticy feeling type of turf algae similar to sea lettuce. It’s all the same. The darker spots are more Nutrient dense and farther from the leds

This holds / consumes 6x the amount of nitrate and phosphate compared to an equal amount of chaeto or hair species algae.

I'm going to need one eventually for the new tank. Do you have a hook up with this company too?

I signed up. Could be a huge breakthrough in the quarantine process. Flukes, internal parasites and such I think are easier to deal with.

BF called said power was out. Verified via checking WiFi based equipment. I was at work.

He was was going to be heading home and said he’d get the generator going for the tanks. Cool. At the time ETA for power to be back on 1pm. Got things situated at work so I could leave.

Was in my car pulling out of the parking lot and he calls me back. Power came back on as he was walking into the house at 11:15…..yeah I did not turn around and go back to work lol

No power for about an hour and both tanks dropped about 1 degree. Now I know how quickly I need to react.

Just let it heat back up...no worries. Make sure generator is good to go for the next time

Just ordered a 2kwh lithium power station

I don’t plan to run heater on it, but theoretically…let’s say a 300w heater comes on every minute and then is off for 2 minutes. In a loop

Then for every 3 hour period of time, it would run for an hour…

I could heat the tank for a period of 18 hours…plenty of time to get home and a generator running. Or for it to run through the night until I wake up and realize there is an outage

I had a similar discussion with @VintageReefer a few months ago..... I got the Anker 767...was $999 black friday. amazon has it for 1199 now

The one I just got is twice the capacity of the ecoflow delta 2

It’s equal to the delta 2 max, which is $1100. But mine is $600

The eco flows are overpriced and under powered. They do the job but are far from the best deal out there
