That's the classiest way I've ever heard of someone getting messed up on Nightquil before. Most just try to hide there problem, but good on you for making it classy. LolSteak with roasted veggies, 3 glasses of cabernet sauvigon. Nightquil before bedtime
I Like that... magnet inspection widow!
I have to experiment with it. But magnets, if not already plastic coated, are encapsulated in ABS with post processing to seal them water tight. Then placed in PETG for further waterproofing.
Nothing wrong with a nightcap. That's the classiest way I've ever heard of someone getting messed up on Nightquil before. Most just try to hide there problem, but good on you for making it classy. Lol
Just to add, PP filament might be an option too, but it's 2x-3x the price.
I have not ever seen it on sale direct but I think I recall BRS had it on sale once.Does @AVAST Marine ever put the plank on sale? Or do discounts in general? It looks like something in my future...

I'm not sure if ABS once treated would be clear enough. I've experimented with clear PETG in the past and achieving a crystal clear transparency is difficult. Translucent or a frosted look is generally how they turn out.
This is one of the reasons I've considered a CNC to cut acrylic.
If you can see the other side too.Didnt know the magnets were already coated.
Even being a frosted look, would still be able to see rust starting to form compared to a solid color
Some are, they are specifically plastic coated for waterproofing and underwater use. More expensive.Didnt know the magnets were already coated.

No magnets but printed this big starfish for the kid last night... (I NEED to buy more filament...more colors!!!)Some are, they are specifically plastic coated for waterproofing and underwater use. More expensive.
Stay away from epoxy or rubber coatings as they generally don't hold up as well.
Want me to send you the stingray file? Only decent stl I could find I had to pay for.No magnets but printed this big starfish for the kid last night... (I NEED to buy more filament...more colors!!!)
Please do... would be much appreciated!Want me to send you the stingray file? Only decent stl I could find I had to pay for.
Warning it requires a lot of filament, good bed adhesion, and long print time
A rainbow filament or tricolor filament could be neat also. Please do... woukd be much appreciated!
Was 8-9 hours for the starfish... longer because I manually paused and purged filament for different colors
Printed a bunch of these for a friend. Valve stem caps.A rainbow filament or tricolor filament could be neat also.
