Wow. I bought this guy probably a month and a half ago and he refused to come out. Thought he was toast. First time he’s shown up! Annoying he’s positioning himself right on torch island but being at the top of it I can work with that. If he wants babies though… they will be evicted.

Chicago sunburst nem I got for $60 at a lfs. It was GORGEOUS but he had a bit of a rough time. He refused to attach to anything in my tank for 2 days. 3rd day I put my powerheads on because I was tired of waiting. Got stuck there for a few hours. Then held up in the shadows for this whole time. Now he popped up. Which is suprisingly because I fresh water bombed my tank by machine error. I did heavily water change (70%) and he showed up today.

Oh? Adopting a baby nem? Also side note just out of excitement I got mysis and target fed the nem and saw a feed response. Gonna have to name this the Highlander nem. I feel bad I got him early in my tanks life (late month 4) but so happy to see that he’s still kicking. I’m starting to get my parameters down too… well was. Gotta check tonight where my water sits since I did such a heavy wc.
