I have a 40 how much would you start with you think? Plus I do have two cleaner shrimp and was curious if it would affect them
I would start very low at 4ml and eventually work your way up to like 6ml over the next week. You could also dip your rocks in the peroxide to expedite the process like Shane said. If you just add it to the tank you will start to notice chunks of algae break free.

Do I just use hydrogen peroxide and be able to put it in tank when done?
There’s different methods.

1)
i would say to do this in 2-3 stages so you don’t have too much die off at once

Take two 5g buckets. One with brand new 1.026 sw for later. One empty

Take out as much rock as you can and fill bucket about 50% with rock. Drain tank and fill bucket to about 90%.

Add hydrogen peroxide 3% from grocery store until the algae on the rocks begins to fizz

Baste the rocks all over. The amount of hydrogen peroxide is correct if the algae is fizzing slowly, you baste it, and it starts up again within a few seconds. Leave in bucket fizzing for 10 min. If you can, toothbrush those sob rocks wherever you can. Then return rock to tank. It should continue to fizz. Use the clean water to replace what you took out Next day any remaining algae will be pale or white and day after it should be dissolved and gone.

If you have ONE rock you want to test this on by all means you can test on one rock to learn the process and see what happens and get the concentration of h2o2 learned. Then you will be more comfortable and prepared.

Repeat on all problem rocks.

If after 3 days algae remains on those dipped rocks, then either concentration was too low or dip needed longer. It definitly will look better at least but we want it gone

2) remove rock and place on table. Use h2o2 undiluted in spray bottle and spray over every single nook and cranny of the rock. Top sides bottom everywhere. Out of the water. Sitting on a table. Let that sit for 10-15 min. Return to tank

I really appreciate it! I saved this so I can come back to it if reef flux doesn't work!
