I think that sounds like so much fun. I looked it up and depending on when, trip could be made for about $600 -flight and hotel.

I use a 20 gallon Aqueon glass tank that I got from Petco. Pick a size that fits your available space and you are done. you could then get a glass top that fits exact but I wanted space for wires and tubes so I bought a $10 plastic cutting board from Walmart and cut it down to fit. No need to custom make something.

About to do the same but float valve for filling.
