Probably. But it's not by much. At 100% whites and 100% blues the par is dumb for vipars...im.speaking on the 300s..not the 165s

Even the 165s par is crazy at 100% both channels.

I only have 2 165w above my 75 at 14 inches, 100% blue and 4% white with half the whites covered.

If I had 3 165w, I wouldn't touch the white channel at all.

Yeah..the par was about the same as the 300s..just smaller area. I think the 165s just have less % blue/violet leds than the 300s

They do, I've looked into them both. If I had the time, modding the 165s could make them perfect light.

The wifi and channel tuning of other lights are cool, but really, not necessary at all.

A walt Disney is on my target list, probably the acro that got me into acros. Figured I'd get my feet wet trying other ones first.

Two years later I still haven't tracked down a proper Walt Disney, I'll save that for the big tank. I also started caring less since I already have some stunners from SBB.

I'll put the Pepsi challenge on any light for par there is with the Vipars....especially if you use the whites. Just with blues only I'm where I want to be par wise. Not the fanciest lights by any stretch but get the job done
