Ok…this concerns me. If you dont know what it is. And I don’t know what it is. Then I gots a problem.

I am HOPING this came inside the acantho as a egg/baby and munched his way into the stomach and then was killed by digestion and expelled.

That’s probably my best case scenario. It never left the acantho until it was dead. Meaning the problem is contained inside the acantho. Which also means I probably can’t dip and solve. But I will toss a 200$ acantho to save my tank without hesitation if I have to.

Update: the acantho thing was pointed out it looks like a lettuce nudi pattern.

I added 2 lettuce nudi about 2 weeks ago.

Soooo. Maybe I don’t have a mystery worm…much more likely my acantho ate, or tried to eat, the Nudibranch

So my regular dosing schedule and what I tested at prior to each dose. I did test at 5pm as well to see what the change in dKH was after a dose.

The intake line is in the middle chamber of the current sump.

I had been shooting for 8.6 when I tested at night - I would about an hour after the last dose. I missed a couple of test and the next time I tested I was below my target. I tested closer the 8. So I upped dosing but haven’t gotten back to 8.6 yet.

It will be interesting to see what it test at in the morning.

i have some Brightwell Alkalinity 8.3P left from before I switched to AF Lab Component. Not sure if I have enough to raise both tanks, but if I only have enough for the new tank I’ll probably just use it there. I really want to get corals into that tank!

I need to test mag and calcium tomorrow….just thought about that lol

I like the 3 part system….especially since it seems to keep all the elements in line. Last ICP only showed 1 or 2 that needed adjusting if I wanted. I do dose extra manganese already. I’m trying to be better about adding iodide every day but I usually forget (it was one of the few that showed up pretty low on my last ICP in October.

I don’t do water changes so………elements have to go back in some way
