I use two 300 watts with an inkbird for my 200. They rarely cycle on, im in Florida and run UVFor all you big tank owners, what heaters do you run and do you put both in the sump?
I think @billyocean mentioned you do one in the display for redundancy purposes.
BRS has their titanium heaters on door buster so I'm trying to figure out what I need for the 200g. Will 600w be enough and what configuration?
Just ordered a 600w this morning for my 180. Going to hook it up on my apex system. Currently running a 300W in the sump and rarely ever need itFor all you big tank owners, what heaters do you run and do you put both in the sump?

Per Billy's advice I went back to Eheim Jager on a controller for my tanks. Dual heaters in the sump. For all you big tank owners, what heaters do you run and do you put both in the sump?

I use Eheim as wellPer Billy's advice I went back to Eheim Jager on a controller for my tanks. Dual heaters in the sump.
2x 300w on Apex in the 230
2x 300w on Inkbird in the180
2x 150w on Inkbird in the 60
I replace them every year. They are relatively cheap and accurate. Using their internal temp settings as a back up to the controller provides a redundancy that I did not have with the BRS Titaniums.
If you are set on titanium hit me up. I have 2x600w used and 3x300w new sitting in a box marked "stuff to sell".

2 of those 300w are fine for my 300. I use those titanium ones with an inkbird controller. I don’t run one in the display. For all you big tank owners, what heaters do you run and do you put both in the sump?

I use two 400W heaters in my 450, in the sump. With all of the equipment, you will likely see it sustains temps on its own pretty well. For all you big tank owners, what heaters do you run and do you put both in the sump?

@VintageReefer can you drop the link for those lids again?
