What is your alk and what you're dosing. With @billyocean help, I was able to dial in my alk. 7.8-7.9. Never more than .2 swing

well well well… found the solution to some of my issues lately. Thought trident was being funky but turns out my Hanna Alk reagent is expired and is reading almost 2 dKH high after calibrating it. So guess who’s been running their tank with an alkalinity of 6. Will be slowly bringing that back up lol

Does it get calibrated with hanna reagent or something?

No but some had suggested calibrating off tank water and what your Hanna reads to save money vs neptunes solution. That works if your Hanna reagent isn’t expired. Tested Neptune’s calibration solution with my Hanna and it was 2dkh off

In other good news, a copperband I’ve had for a month that only eats aptasia finally ate some frozen today. They say a copperband that’s ich resistant and eats aptasia and frozen is worth its weight in gold
