I have no interest in watching the show whatsoever. I listen to a few Tolkien podcasts though so some of what's going on just pops up into my thread. Apparently, the episode that launched last night made the last few people that were still in the show's corner throw up their hands and walk away. I won't say what happened to prevent spoilers, but it sounds not good.

We're about 15 minutes into episode 1.

I think everything about it is good other than the show, which I’m sure makes almost no sense. But the cinemas aspect is amazing, the accuracy of the lore is spot on for the most part but I struggle to stay involved in every episode

Just watch it for fun. Dont take it as canon

I've been holding off watching this. I've been a huge Tolkien fan since I was a kid and didn't want to be disappointed. Sounds like I may have dodged a bullet
