I’m hopeful for my SBB Lorax. Completed Joker Coraks STN RTN Dip, Lugols Dip and three day whole tank treatment.

I’m seeing polyps on top of where I cut off the dead area.

Hoping it fully heals!

Anyone have a recommendation for where they get macro algae. Plenty of options not sure the best to go?

In the past I've used coral anonymous. They have a decent variety and when they are on sale you can pick up a nice bush for dirt cheap. Every piece I've ordered from them, has arrived nice and healthy.

What causes BJD?

BJD is really just a description of a symptom which can be caused by multiple things - it's the flesh of the torch and bacterial nastiness melting away, sort of like pus or gangrene is how I think of it .

Most often, it's going to be an infection caused by stress, poor water quality, physical damage, or looking at your torch with a mean face.

That's what I think, anyway, I don't think there is an exact answer, which is very frustrating.
