Oh on the getting old thing. I slipped and fell in the parking lot of the frag show last sunday. It looked like the parking lot was abandoned and hadn't been plowed all year. So I was being careful. Made it all the way to about 15' from the door. Next thing I know I'm on the ground and the people behind me are standing there staring at me. Yup at the time really only my elbow and pride were hurt. All this last week most of my body hurts. I'm going to go shovel the snow that showed up last night have a wonderful sunday!
If there's no pics it didn't happen, right!!
At least you got to go to the show

Ok, so I don't mean to hijack the dream here but I'm having a problem and I value all of your opinions!
I put a few frags in my tank awhile ago and shortly after my PO4 tanked to 0. I worked to get a reading back by feeding more and using Reefeoids but I think that worked too well and I can't get rid of this green cyano!
Did a 3 day blackout and added some MB7 and all that seemed to do was tick off the coral.
I'm hesitant to throw in Chemiclean but I'm thinking it might be my only option. I'd love your thoughts, thinking if I go the Chemiclean route and watch levels closely afterwards that might work or cause more issues???
Sorry again for the hijack

I've never used Chemiclean so I'm no help there. For my phosphate tank I use NeoPhos (now I'm using a DIY but the same as NeoPhos).

It's on the sand bed and starts on the rock if I don't clean it off in a few days. I was seriously considering the coral snow with MB7. Read through that thread before and was very intrigued, just nervous to make things worse.
And yeah, sorry @sfin52
I use it. I dont always do the mb7 but I do the calcium carbonate weekly. Nothing in my tank seems bothered or stressed by it. I dont even measure it anymore just dump some in and go yeah thats good. I usually leave the return off for 20-30 min. I dont even use filter floss anymore skimmer clears it up by morning. I think it is one of the reasons my dry rock bottle bac tank never really had ugly stage issues. That and lots of pods and phyto at the beginning. I was using fuel or restore, mb7 and brightwell vitamarin-m weekly in the snow for the first 6 months of the tanks life after the cycle.

That's great info, my interest is really peaked on snow!

I use Calcium Carbonate, sometimes with and sometimes without MB7.

I don't premix like the directions say, I do anywhere from 1.5-3 teaspoons in a cup or 2 of water, shake/stir, and dump it in the tank.
