Share your experience with reefing clubs!

This is more of me just being curious. We have a lot of clubs here, and there are a lot of clubs online and a lot of local clubs out there. I am wondering what your experience has been with these clubs. Do you enjoy being in one, wish you were in one or just simply don't know enough about them. Let's hear about those reefing club experiences!

We used to have a nice saltwater specific club here in KC, back in the 2000's 2010's, but, they have all died away. Facebook groups seem to have replaced the need for in person gatherings. So many old school ways of doing things losing favor with today's generation.

I tried many times to start a local in person club. Many said they were interested, but none were willing to leave their house when the meeting day came. Always an excuse. Facebook groups took over in my area, and they are mostly buy/sell groups.
